...for me and my sister to watch, and help me forget about that shitshow at the Amex last night.

Although not critically-acclaimed the sort of vibe we're looking for is The Hangover / Ricky Stanicky / Tag.

Thanks.

‘Shitty American Films’ as my Mrs calls them. I bloody love these type of ‘easy watching’ comedies, you may need to start a few free trials on Prime etc to access a couple of these (and some may have been removed since I last checked)

Bad Neighbours 1/2
The Nice Guys
21/22 Jump Street
Fundamentals on Caring (Hilarious but poignant)
Goon
Superbad
Tallageda Nights
Role Models
Vacation

A “marmite” film, Hundreds of Beavers. It meets the silly criteria, but is effectively a black and white silent film made this decade.

I and my son loved it, my daughter loathed it. If you’ve no love of slapstick and older forms of comedy, I’d swerve it, but it’s out there as an option and I’m sure one of the services you mention will have it. We watched in a group, and that seemed to work as (daughter aside) we found the pace of gags just right.
