Shamefully it was- excellent food, especially the oven baked squid with Oysters to start.

Yum.

Or stay in and order a feast from Tropical Curryland, the best takeaway curry in Brighton.

A man after my own heart Easy, cracking place but the food has gone somewhat downhill in recent times.

Love it for a big old bowl of Loosebones for a lunch treat though!

Oooh, loose bones, with that h-h-HOT barbecue sauce. I'm dribbling now just thinking about it.

AND you've got Cheeky Chicken bang opposite. We're so lucky in Brighton, arn't we.

Basically it's decent local food presented excellently. They'll look after you too. Great little place.

I've not been, but my work colleague, who is a total restaurant Nazi (she moans and berates the smallest problem) totally adores and says it it as an excellent place.

I'd go on that recommendation myself.

Buffet Island opposite St Peters Church.

£14 all you can eat Chinese buffet place and it is pretty decent quality as well.

Was in there Sunday and for £8.99 ( sunday special ) it was well worth it. lots of choices and if you read there place mats then children under 4ft 5 eat for half price not sure what that is about
