Reasons why Wilkins should be in the dugout NOT the stand

1. I can't imagine it fills the players with confidence seeing Dean White desperately trying to hear what the he's saying on the other end of the mobile. If he doesn;t know what he's doing he shouldn't be there.

2. It looks incredibly amateurish having them keep PHONING each other.

3. The view is NO better, so I don't see what different perspective it offers on the game. And if he really wants another view why not stick White or Chapman there, he is the boss he should be directing things.

4. Must be expensive.

5. Mobiles give you cancer.

7. Who would choose to sit in the North Stand amongst the thermos flasks and blankets when the family stand is the place to be?

8. It deprives an Albion fan who otherwise could have sat there a chance to see Brighton play (yes - my tongue is in my cheek)

9. The North Stand does not do bacon baguettes

10. The children of Mile Oak. These kiddies should be a factor in every decision affecting the Albion.

I have one word to say to you..................BLUETOOTH.

Imagine the fear we would put into the opposition if Dean White had one of those sophisticated Bluetooth earpieces, they would capitulate straight away, players wouldn't come out of the changing room..... The away dugout would be unoccupied, we would be top of the league in weeks. I suppose we will have to wait till Falmer for this cutting edge technology

11. Sitting in the stand is something Premiership managers do in two or three tiered grounds. He is gaining no new perspective on the game and it makes him look egotistical and up his own arse.

think that is a key point

when coppell was in the stands, he had enough faith in bob booker to just let him get on with it, and not have to delay any tactical adjustments by getting on the phone every time to check what to do

if wilkins wants to sit in the stand, he has to either trust white or chapman to get on with it, or if he wants to control everything himself, be in the dugout

Coppell used to go in the stand for the first half and then spend the second half in the dugout.

Mountain out of a molehill, once the players step across the line it doesn't really matter where he sits as players cop a deaf 'un to instructions from the bench anyway imo

I wouldn't mind so much if we had someone with some experience on the bench....but Chapman and f***ing White !!!

This unfortunatly is a league 1 side with a county league set up.

The sooner DK realises that Wilkins either needs some experienced help or gets someone else in the better

He can not be in the dug out as there are already too many coaches there and he would have to tell one to go. So sitting in the stand is an easy option as not to upset anyone. Also DK now has control during matches!!!!!
