Reasons why Russ is the RIGHT man for the job

after witnessing yesterdays game, i have firmly decided that russ is the correct man to lead the club. here are a few reasons why:

1) he looks like a POTATO

2) he has an EXCELLENT eye for fashion, as demonstrated by the corking suit he was in yesterday - coupled with standard issue club tie

3) he has kept dean white as assistant manager, which allows for more EXCELLENT comments like "99 times out of 10", "he is a typical french holding player" despite the fact the man in question is from sierra leone, and "ive watched lloyd for a number of years now, and i fancy him"

4) with a little weight loss, he would be a dead ringer for richard o'brien

5) he sounds like he knows what he is doing

6) the salute he gave to the fans was CHURCHILL-like

7) he has been known to, in the past, wear a tony pullis-style baseball cap when managing

with russ in charge, i confidently predict that there are exciting times ahead - russell slades blue and white army

Sometimes even the club shorts.

f*** me - if that happens i will risk a lifetime ban by entering the playing area and attempt to kiss his shiny head

f***ing hell - he even has the dean white socks pulled up despite not being a part of the squad look going on

i have not been this excited by a managers choice of clothing since mcghee and that BRILLIANT all white tennis player look he had going on at reading on the opening day of 2004-05

I've gotta' admitt, I think it's better than Mcghee's gear. This is just immense.

Also, he was wearing cufflinks!

it just gets better and better!

the only thing i can think of that would improve yesterdays look would be a monacle, and the standard issue club tie being replaced by a BOW tie
