I know some of you or have friends who do some singing ( not in the bar or at football) and this is aimed at you.

On Sunday 13th May 2007, 7 of us are signing at the Royal Albert Hall Brahms Requiem, which is with the "Sing From Scratch" group, headed by Sir David Willcocks ( no relation unfortunately) and the English Festival Orchestra. The choir is made up of nearly 2000 people.

Anyway, my missus cant go now, so I have a ticket for a soprano singer. the ticket is £15 and gets you admission and a place in the soporano section of the concert. We are going up on the Sunday about lunchtime as there is a rehearsal at 3 ish!

If you know anyone who fancies a go at this and singing in one of the most famous auditoriums in the world, please PM me the details. Its obviously serious singing but I have been told its great fun also.

Cheers

do they sing at normal tempos or do they speed things up so no one can keep up?

sorry I have never heard of " normal " tempo

they normally sing what the composer requires them to sing.
