If we can't get a Prem striker we need to be looking at the lower leagues. I have to admit to being a bit out of touch with Leagues 1 and 2 these days. Any strikers that for the bill down there?

I'm a big fan of Daniel Powell of MK. A strong powerful young attacking midfielder.

Probably the best goalscoring striker in Div 1 isnt good enough for the championship...............Gary Alexander of Crawley he has done it at every club that he has player for.

I'm afraid we missed the boat, we should have moved heaven and earth to get Adam Le Fondre. Some said he would never come south but he signed for Reading when they were in the championship.

Charlie Austin. He may not be lower league, but Burnley are crap.

I'd LOVE Charlie Austin. I backed him to be top Championship goalscorer, partly in the hope that a Blackburn or Bolton will shellout for him

Last season I was a big fan of that sore ell fella at Watford. But he has gone to Bolton, no idea how much for. Think he would be perfect for us. Not exactly lower league.

Lower league doesn't mean cheap anymore, that's the problem.

CMS £2.5m
Rhodes £4m (only L1 proven)
Jamie Vardy was well over £1.5m with add on's, and he'd only ever done well at f*cking FLEETWOOD.

Agreed - I thought he also played up front?

Yeah I'm sure they play him up top. Great goal last weekend and def one for the future worth snapping up now. Charlie Austin would also be good, having a player in the box who can convert chances.

Kyle Bennett-Doncaster. Elliott's brother.

Bennett is an attacking midfielder "known for his blistering pace and close ball control as well as having the ability to fire the ball at goal with venom"

I was impressed with him when i first saw him play 2/3 years ago in our 0 - 0 end of season bore draw up there and he can only have got better - surely worth a punt?

Think Sordell went for about £4 million. England U21 International and was in the GB squad at the Olympics. Think we can file this under 'no chance'.
