Real ale pubs in Manchester

Can't really recommend any real ale pubs to be honest, but when those with half a brain cell and limited knowledge of the United Kingdom slag off the North I have a little chuckle.

Manchester is a great city.

I lived in London for year, but as a graduate of Manchester University I have very fond memories of my time there.

Better than Brighton ? Very much so.
