Adam Virgo, ignored by ex-Brighton boss Steve Coppell during his time with the club, is now a target for Reading.

John Madejski said, "We take everything good out of Brighton so obviously we had to make our move quickly."

Adam scored in injury time of extra time to save Brighton in Thursday's Play-Off Semi Final against Reading.

Coppell said, "I've always been a big fan of Adam."

However Coppell could face competition from Micky Adams who was at the ground to view his number one summer transfer target.

As I posted the other day - there is a 1st div club chasing Virgo and close to sealing a deal that we will be unlikely to match. But it is not Reading or Leicester according to my source (who actually knows Adam personally!)

He is out of contract in the summer
