Took a gamble and it backfired.Even the bench looked weak. Second substitution left to the 86th minute, and then a defender, has to be questioned. If Sami had still been manager he would have been slated. It is the first time that I have been disappointed in Hughton and hope he has learned something from this evening. If we stay up and I think we will, Saturday is a big game, then I can see a mass clearout. There are not many in this squad that will get us competeing at the right end of the table.

Bruno was brought on so that Halford could go up front to support O'Gravy and Worst.

22 games this season we have gone behind. We have won one of them.

Our record going behind since coming to the Amex has been terrible. Under Poyet, under Oscar, under Hyypia, and now under Hughton. With JFC, without him. With Stockdale, Kuszczak, Brezovan, Ankergren, without them. With Bridge, Ward, Painter, Mattock and Bennett. With Bruno, with Calderon, with Reyes. With CMS, Best, Ulloa, Barnes, O'Grady, Paynter, Lita, Hoskins, Dobbie, Vokes, Agdestein, or without them. With or without two wingers. With Greer, Dunk, Upson, El Abd, without them.

It can't simply be the managers or the players.

JFC shouldn't be anywhere near the first 11 - simply offers absolutely nothing! When we will ever learn

I have to agree. When i saw that a few that have been in the winning sides (3 out of last 4 games) left out, and JFC in, my heart sank. Too many changes with weaker players coming in. No Tex, no flair, no Calde, no passion, no Bruno and Calde no attacks down the right flank.
JFC reminds me of Butch Wilkins, the crab.

If we're still in this division.

What? :jester:

There's letting off steam after a shit game Simster and then there's being a bit of a drama queen, try staying on the right line there or Finchley Seagull's gonna get you with his unique brand of fun

Before I take my leave I wanted to strenuously defend poor olde JFC. He's a maverick you see, he has 'vision', he can see a pass as I a cliche. Akin to a fretless bass wielding jazz master of yore, he's utterly lost in the earthy beat combo of our midfield. It's writ large on his face, he's being strangled by the limitations of those around him - I urge you to fly Jake, take to the sky, catch that rainbow and any other inspiring words someone may have said to you in your life... Only you have the power to unleash, or rather, unearth you God given potential, drop the bushel and let your light illuminate others... as it has me.

God bless you son; you're living the dream, just don't dream through your life.

And on the bright side we are not Reading fans. A drum and a trumpet, that famous Neil Diamond football anthum and darts goal music.

And we didnt make utter tits of ourselves by pitch invading to celebrate a play-off position they didnt actually win. Hey ho, at least we can still enjoy this -

The entire Albion squad/management should give their wages to Dick Head for his forthcoming psychotherapy:mad:

My psychotherapist was doing a group therapy session with me, my mum and three other mothers and their children. "You all have obsessions," he observed.
To the first mother he said, "You are obsessed with eating. You even named your daughter Candy."
He turned to the second mother. "Your obsession is money. Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."
He turned to the third mum. "Your obsession is alcohol and your child's name is Brandy."
At this point, my mum got up, took me by the hand and whispered, "Come on, Dick, let's go home."

What a catty thread tonight (no, not referring to you, Glasfryn)! Glad I had to go out at half time............

It seems CH got it wrong tonight, and that making five changes to a winning side was not a good idea. Still in Camp Hughton, though - he's got far more right than he's got wrong; tonight might have been a gamble, but it didn't work.

Mind you, five changes for Saturday ARE now required (I think we can all fill in most of the names involved!)

The stats are 1 in 10 win from behind across all PL games. A single extra win would equal that

Back from the game. Total tosh from the entire team points awarded 1 each for actually finding their way to the ground. That is it. Very very pissed off.

I thought you were going to bed?

I am in bed, I have a laptop. Gone are the days of dragging my massive desktop and monitor betwixt the sheets, too many wires and a rather uncomfortable experience to say the least. Although the mouse did have it's plus points. Ignore that last bit.

To quote Liam Brady...

Were they all fit? Our away form is pretty poor. He tried something different and we lost narrowly.

In order to win you have to first show a sign that you might score. We showed nothing. Poor COG had little service and then nobody supporting him. Then we bought Best on, who is just not up to it.

Ledesma is equally poor. Together with Halford down the wing they were terrible.

I think this has shown that Best, Ledesma and JFC have no place in a future Albion team. Sorry JFC supporters, but I just don't see it.

Too many experiments tonight.
