Reading set to appoint boss


Madejski's mind is made up
Reading are hopeful of unveiling their new manager on Tuesday.
The club had been expected to name Alan Pardew's replacement over the weekend but on Monday they revealed they were still working to bring in a new manager.

Brighton boss Steve Coppell is thought to be Reading's preferred choice but director of football Nicky Hammond refused to confirm if he looked set to be named manager.

Hammond said: "The board know who they want and we have been working hard over the weekend to try to resolve it.

"Things moved on over the weekend and we should be able to announce something tomorrow or Wednesday."

I can't cope with another day of this..............................

In The Observer yesterday, it said SC rejected Reading as the salary was too low.........so I'm assuming they'll simply offer him more.
