If you are on here, it was a pleasure starting a rather drunken rendition of Sussex by the Sea to celebrate Brighton being top of the league on Saturday.

On a slightly separate note, the amount of love I got from fans from all different teams, a lot of them Championship teams, whilst wearing the stripes was fantastic. It's a great time to be Albion.

Saw a couple of Albion shirts by the main stage yesterday, didn't say hello as I can't imagine the state I was in would have made me a particularly great conversationalist.

Whilst we're on the subject, care to give a summary of your weekend? Who did you enjoy most?

It was my first festival experience and i had a blast! 5 days is definitely the correct length of time though.

Think i had a combined total of 8 hours sleep, but that's all part of the fun.

Thursday to Friday, that rain storm was immense! Id say we had at least 14 hours none stop. Most got depressed by it, we just laughed it off!

With regards to acts, Im a dance freak, so my preference would be something like;

1) The Streets (smashed it!)
2) Sub focus / Nero (dance stage Friday)
3) 2 many DJs (Muse who?)
4) Bombay bicycle club
5) Enter Shakiri
6) Friendly Fires
7) Strokes
8) Pulp

And a few others.

Biggest disappointment for me was Devlin. Thought he was awful. Sound system didn't help him out though.

Yourself? How did you find it? Anyone else?

Haha, I wish I had your enthusiasm with regards to the rain. Fortunately I think I was too pissed to notice it half the time, although at least once a day I'd head down to the arena with merely a t-shirt on, only to get three quarters of the way there and the heavens to open. Nevermind, like you said, it's half the fun.

I didn't hang around for Devlin, I saw the band before him however called Crystal Fighters who were awesome, they ranked pretty highly up there for me, as did most of the acts I saw in the Lock Up/Dance Tent. On that note, I think The King Blues (a band I've rated for ages) were unbelievable, probably had the best hype of anyone I saw all weekend. Only downside of their performance was that it overran either side of Pulp and then The Strokes, meaning that I had to miss bits of their set.

The Streets on Sunday were very good, shame it appears that Skinner might not take to the stage again. Bombay Bicycle Club nailed it, as did The Vaccines. Muse on Sunday evening were pretty good too.

Bizzarely, the first act I saw were Frankie & The Heartstrings, and thought we as Albion fans could definitely get something going in the way of an Alan Navarro song from their song 'Hunger'.
