Hob Nob Anyone? View topic - RUMOUR - Liam Bridcutt

Some of the quotes..

'Too lightweight'

'Too inconsistent'

'DOOOOOM'

'Please no I have seen him play quite a few times'

'Good player, good age, I'd be pleased if we got him'

The most realistic comment ^

But the 'too inconsistent one' has to be the funniest one yet :lolol:

The one's that have judged obviously haven't seen him much, I think the Liverpool game was very unfortunate but other then that I can't really recall where he's had a bad game for us, someone help me unless I've missed a few games and he's not performed well. I'm not saying he's outstanding every game because he does have his games where he's not amazing but still very useful but I can't recall him having a shocker for us.

This is about as funny as the Scummer fan that tweeted at the weekend that over the two games against them we had only had 30 minutes where we were in control and that was down to the ref! Arf Arf

Hope them and Southampton come straight back down. I really did not think they were that good last year, we were robbed at home due to a great display by their keeper......

Roberts was a good signing at the time, but you have to wonder if most of their team is of a sufficient Premier League standard.

Bridcutt is way too good for them.

He didn't even play badly against Liverpool (well he was one of our better players at least), the two OGs, first was nothing he could do about Vokes heading the ball into him at point blank range, second he was the last man back trying to cover for shit defending by others and desperately trying to stop the ball going in the net got unlucky.

Still if Reading fans don't want him I'm ok with that, I don't want him to go to Reading either. :)

I'm pretty sure Bridcutt wouldn't want to play football on a pitch built over a water/sewage treatment plant. Pphhwwooaarrr the smell of it!

He is from Whitley, he's probably used to the rancid stench of it and knows full well that trading in the fresh sea air in our beautiful city for the Whitley Whiff in that horrible town would be a ridiculous move.
Plus he would have to deal with Reading fans-

I lived in whitley for many many years and my mum still lives there, the whitley whiff is long gone:)
Reading is not a horrible town,it's very prosperous and is moving with the times, the only downside is the shite nightlife.

The whiff has gone?! Incredible stuff.
Was born in Reading myself and lived in Kintbury, just west of Newbury, up until a couple of years ago and used to dread having to go to there. Always seemed to get started on for no apparent reason, whether it was shopping, going for a drink, changing trains etc. Maybe that's just me.
