Re naming a road. Re Steve Wright/Ipswich.

It appears residents of London Road Ipswich, home of where Steve Wright lived are to be balloted as to a name change of London Road as to remove the stigma. What next counselling ?

I could understand if it was a name that was remembered as a result of the murders. For example, the killings were referred to as the "insert name" Road murders. But I think there is probably a London Road in every town in the country.
On a similar note this has got me thinking, what happened to the Fred & Rose West's road? Was that name changed? Does anyone else live in their house now?

still there - the house was demolished, and is now just a path towards the town centre, as they thought that a memorial garden could attract people turning up to worship the work of fred
