As good as we were yesterday, Rashford was awful for them. Absolutely stunk the game out.

What is it with them and attacking players? Lingard, Sancho, Anthony and now Rashford. What are they doing to them?

I think the knives are out for Rashford for various reasons, I still think he is a very fine player (he blew past one of our full backs yesterday like he wasn’t there, so the basic pace is still there) but maybe there is something about ETH’s system that doesn’t get the best out of him (also after all ruined Sancho). Anyway if Man U are silly enough to offload him, another club is going to get a real talent. I suspect he may still out last the manager tho

if he could time his runs, this thread wouldn’t exist

Hes not going to get that money anywhere else with his current form. He looks unhappy and disinterested. Its just one of a list of Manchester United problems...

United seem to be having a similar effect on talented players as Chelsea.

Much as we take the piss out of Maguire being a donkey, he was brilliant for Leicester (and England) before Utd ruined him.

Maybe controversial, but I’d love him here. Obviously won’t happen and we’re well catered for now after this summer but I do think half the issue is the spotlight at a big club and the atmosphere there. Could easily see him going to a Villa / Newcastle / Spurs and tearing it up.

He needs a move, he should have gone in the summer, he needs a fresh start elsewhere.

Him / Bruno are the only ones in that United side talent wise I'd take.

Leicester played deep and Maguire is excellent in that set up

United play a higher line and he's not a highline defender

I’d add Dalot (who I thought was very good yesterday), but otherwise agree

Give it a couple more years. Danny was 29 when we fixed him

Rashford is not a happy man, at all. His mind is not at Manchester United, and it doesn't really look to be on football. He's clearly a huge talent, but he's not in the right headspace at all. It's blatantly obvious.

If he has issues off the pitch, they need fixing. If he has issues with Man Utd, he needs to leave.
