Brilliant news, wonder who we will get after June.

Yassir has been dazzled by the cash and glamour of Surrey a, they will need him to improve on last years effort.

rana is far superior to yasir, both in playing and in fake hair, so this is fantastic news for all concerned

He is a better player than Yassir definitely. Much better bowler. Well he was last season for sure.

Also in respect of his barnet. For the one dayers BBC 5 live have taken the ABC coverage and two Aussies commentators (one may have been Terry Alderman) were talking about Rana's thatch this morning (he is playing for Tasmania in the big bash). His hairpiece is crossing continents and I think from the comments he may have grown a mullet.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Surrey desperately trying to keep up with their far superior southern neighbours. I am starting to lose count of the players they have taken, yet failed miserably to overhaul us.

Salisbury, Akram, Hamilton-Brown and so on.

i would still have liked to have Yas for the 20/20's especially as we have now lost JK. I cant remember what rana is like as a death bowler

Yassir is quality 20/20, most 20/20 games are in July and Ranas contract only to June, we need the DOCTOR as our overseas and get the young quickies all trained up and primed for death bowling by the master J. Kirtley.

The talk is that McCullum is coming back for the T20. The Dr was not that great last year by his standards and i think we may well be looking elsewhere

Great slower ball, decent yorker. As good as Arafat at the death IMO, if not better as he reverses the ball more.

I really don't like Rana Naved. I can remember a game a couple of years ago where he lost us the match because he bowled about 3 no balls in the final over!

I remember Rana hitting a ball so far (against Gloucestershire in a Pro-40 game I think) down at Hove that I swear the ball went over the big flats. It was HUGE. Great news he's back.

Yeah righto ??? he was rubbish in this game too last season when him and RMJ virtually carried the championship side in the first half of the season. We actually got worse after he left and Yassir came in, we absolutely walked the first 4 CC games.

I'm positive it did clear the flats. Biggest six I've eveerrr seen, anywhere.
