Yes I eat anything
Pretty great turnaround from 0-9 to 1-0 I'd be emotional. If we bought Ings I'd definitely blub
Needs to pull himself together. Nothing wrong with crying, but that is pathetic and possibly even damaging, like Rafa’s Facts. Hopefully the players appreciate it.
I like Ralph. He’s done a great job and Soton are on fire but needs to control his emotions a bit there for me, Jeff.
And they haven’t won in the league since, losing 4 (Leicester, Arsenal, Villa, Utd). Not an easy run, but I suspected at the time it might jar with the players.
Wonder if he cried tonight after another 9-0?
Think its more about their 10 injuries than about him crying for a couple of seconds a month ago

Yeah, Southampton have a lot of injuries but we've just finished a transfer window and Southampton have acquired the grand total of one player (and loaned another one out). If he was that concerned then they should surely have got in some reinforcements
Their latest accounts show they've borrowed £79m with an APR of 9% (£7m a year), repayable by 2025.
Yikes. Lucky we have TB plugging those kind of gaps.
Blimey Southampton are a bonkers team.
They do tend to sell when they think a player has hit his top value.
Potter has hinted that this could be the case for us (in the summer presumably). Unless you are a top 6 club, the revenue from player sales at the top level is critical in my opinion, Wolves is a good example of the dangers of pursuing this policy by selling a goal scoring striker and then having the other one that can score injured.
My little brother is a scummer, he’s saying he asked for money from the board, and was told the cupboard is bare, use what you have. Also the guy who got sent off demanded to be picked or would down tools.
All is not well along the coast, could be that team that free fall, the board are waiting to cash in on Ings, seems the managers hands are tied and they are at odds with each other.
Apart from the £37m that WE'VE borrowed recently, obviously - Brighton’s losses tripled in 2019-20 while club borrowed £37 million
But if they're that strapped, why do they loan Valery? I'm sure the Brummies aren't too much for his loan so that's peanuts off the wage bill. And I'm sure they could have conjured the dosh for a couple of loans.
They're going to be OK though, it would take a hell of a free fall for them to hit the relegation zone
Agreed, Ralph will be gone before the start of next season, he’s done with the board.
Next season nailed on relegation, probably worth a punt now for next season.
I can't see many teams spending much in the summer if this past window is anything to go by. Interesting David Conn piece in the Grauniad today, pointing out just how battered football finances are even at the top of the game. This summer could be another exercise in frugality from everyone.
