Indeed - that whole shooting match is a mess, and the yank chairwankers could probably have just let him scuttle and then scoot, if they hadn't 'expressed themselves' about him. Now they are taking the heat, and the pundits will be using them as the excuse for liverpool's demise.

No, you idiot! It has absolutely nothing to do with West Ham playing well, and all to do with just how crap Benitez is!

In all honesty though, Benitez has to stay until the end of the season at least, mainly because he is the best man to manage them in Europe, but they still have a great chance of finishing 4th.
