We have seen the comments about the TV lot but what about the radio?

Colin Murray and his Uncle Peter Allen were my favourite anchormen and the actual commentators were all fantastic:

Alan Green doing the rowing was much better than at football. He was positive, enthused and allegedly cried when the first women's pair won Gold.

John Hunt (the racing commentator and sometimes football) was brilliant and even made dressage entertaining.

Jonathan Overand calling Andy Murray getting Gold and Jade in the Taekwando was stunning.

What did you think?

Agree, thought 5live really excelled with their coverage, very impressed. Always listen to it going to/from work and thought the presenters really got into it. Remember listening to Chris Hoy win one of his cycling golds on it, and it was absolutely terrific.

george Riley and Nicky campbell were brilliant together as was Rachel Burden.

Victoria Derbyshire annoys the pants off me ( but that is just irrational)

I agree that 5 live were just brilliant.

I can't stand Colin Murray, thought he was awful.

Apart from him, I thought the rest were excellent. (Even Alan Green, who I normally can't stand, I thought was good atthe Rowing)

Mrs Titanic was thrilled to be interviewed by Nicky Campbell on our way into the park on Wednesday... and ask a question of the Brownlee boys (something about their mum??), and then to wave at a rather trampy-looking Chris Evans too.

Personally, neither of them do a lot for me!

I listened a lot to 5live and I thought the coverage was excellent, even Colin Murray who I thought was ok (and who isa superb presenter on Fighting Talk).

I really enjoyed the radio coverage.

It was 10/10. I couldn't watch much of the coverage but 5live kept me gripped. Vic Derbyshire was a little too over excited at points but if it was perfect it wouldnt have been live radio.

A high five to 5live!
