Agree with you totally there. Claridge was a tricky player on the field and on radio not afraid to ask or talk truefully.

They were spot on with their assessment of Sol Campbell. It did come across as very big headed and trying to play the hard done by card.

Heard that exchange and fully back Claridge. Let's face it he would do better than most on MotD.

Ian McGarry is the WORST when he is on. Horrendous.

I'm all for people having contacts at clubs and using them...but he mentions Chelsea at EVERY opportunity he can get.

He also talks nonsense a fair bit. I used to like the Friday night preview with Colin Murray, Pat Nevin and Perry Groves. A really good combination.
