Aged 70.....from the days when Boxing was exciting.

Gutted. Class act he was, both as a boxer and a person. He openly admitted he could never be as great as Ali, Foreman & Frazier as didn't enjoy the boxing and the killer instinct that went with it

He was awesome, right scary, geez boxing was so exciting in the 70's and early 80's, such great memories

Those were the days several really good heavyweights around made some great contests

Saw this also: " He was a member of the state championship football team and was selected to the all-state team on defence as a senior in 1960. His track coach entered him in eight events, and Norton placed first in all of them. As a result, the "Ken Norton Rule", which limits participation of an athlete to a maximum of three track and field events, was instituted in Illinois high school sports"
