Having to visit Brighton office on Monday, and had to cancel my planned half day off, so would welcome suggestions of where to watch game apart from King & Queen! To make things worse, I won't be finished until approx 5.30pm.

Lord Nelson is always good. I'm not sure of your definition of quiet, but its not full of dicks and does very good
beer

Sort of in the same boat in that will finish work about 5.15.

Was thinking of K&Q as that's always been lucky for me in the past but there's a fair chance it'll be full by 5.00 so I may well go to the Welly, which is not far from the station and often puts a big screen in the back room and sometimes provides a buffet too!

Very popular Albion pub.

Good shout, big screen a bonus when you are arriving late with standing room only.

The seaside.
The Westhill (run by a Swindon fan off of NSC) will probably be quiet, as they've only literally just got a telly in, so it's not a place people would think of going to watch the game. Albert's usually not too bad also. Those are the only two you'll stand a chance of getting a seat I reckon (if that's what you mean by quiet). The likes of the Welly, Eddy and Nelson will be standing room only. The only place near the station to avoid (other than the ones that don't have TVs) in the Railway Bell, which is solely frequented by tossers.
