the poissonerie and the newhaven fish sales place (bizarrely at the end of hove lagoon) receive the regular patronage of my good self. finest food in brighton (canhams the butcher excepted)

90% of their fish is pre frozen and caught elsewhere, may as well go to Tesco . . .sea bass in season is good though granted

I am always slightly distressed about having live crabs looking at me as we buy them. Its a bit like that Capital One advert
