Theres a list of all to 1993 in the SEAGULLS! book, IIRC. However, my copy has gone AWOL somewhere in this house... meaning its probably in a laptop bag somewhere...

Peter Grummitt had one in (I think) 1977 or 78 - Chris Cattlin had one against Coventry in the same season.

I went to Cattlin's - decent crowd, don't remember going to Peter's.
I remember going to Grummitts first proper memory of the Albion a big fat Mullery came on a scored a penalty one of the first games with my Dad

There was about 3,000.

Dean Wilkins played for about 40 minutes - and just ran the show...

Dean Wilkins can do that thing where you play a driven pass that goes at exactly the same height over about 40 yards remaining about half an inch off the turf. I saw him do it at 5-a-side. I'd give my right knacker to be able to do that.

I went to Gerry Ryans testimonial for my 7th birthday. I remember us losing 4 nil to a Spurs team that contained Clemence, Stevens, Hoddle and Waddle. We had a goal disallowed and i didnt know why. My Dad told me it was because someone was off side. This meant nothing to me so when we got home out came my Subbuteo set and Dad taught me the off side rule there and then

The Sheff Wed one was particularly amusing - we scored (Peter Smith?) when 7-0 down and the North Stand went nuts.

Also remember Regi Blinker came in for a lot of stick that night.

Jimmy Case pulled out one of Blinker's dreadlocks if I remember rightly.

The goal was from a Stu Myall Free-kick and Smithy was stretching to knock it over the line and injured his hamstring.

Dont remember Venables but Greavesy certainly played as did Rodney Marsh. As mentioend by someone else, the Spurs fans took over the North Stand that night. Not very well behaved as I recall....now theres a surprise!

I thought the goal was froma Glenn Hoddle pass that Jeff Minton knocked back across for Smith to score?
