I remember going to watch an arsenal league cup game years ago with Arturo Lupoli, Bendtner and Quincy Owusu-Abei destroyed the opposition. I was sure I'd just seen 3 phenomenal footballing talents.

Now they are all 28-30 and all failures.

Bendtner rivals Leon Knight for bellendery getting in the way of ability.

I don't blame them.

Potentially he could be a fantastic signing but I'd want him to be on a relatively low wage with big bonuses for goals scored etc. However, he doesn't appear to be the sort of player that would accept such a contract, more likely to demand first team football and refuse to be substituted.

Very much agree.

Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to force a statue to be built of him upon signing as well as a stand naming rights

Given the opportunities he's been given, he really should be a lot more likeable and a lot better at what he does.
