A little further afield...
The gather inn, by hove lagoon
Three graces on Portland road
The Victoria by portslade station
.. I've just moved to Portslade!....

Further afield still . . .

The Henfield Club.

One needs to be a member, but they have several tables.

Aldrington Club on Portland Road opposite first co-op, you need to be a member but cheap booze, 2 pool tables and full sized snooker table which is only £2 an hour.

High up on the South Downs.
Yet another thread on the theme of Brighton and Hove being completely colonised by right on London yuppies.
Remember years ago being annoyed when pool tables replaced bar billiards.
Hey ho.

Hey ho.

No. It was just a question about pool tables :)

Hey ho.

Saw a bar billiards table in a junk shop in Hastings last week. Haven't seen one since the 70's. Think the Stadium had one and maybe the Nevile.

Odds on coming out of there alive?

The Branch was my local 30 years ago.. I've been there a couple of times recently and although rundown it wasn't too bad and the Barmaid and drinkers in there seemed friendly enough. There are too many poncey pubs these days and it's good to still have spit and sawdust establishments.

The Sussex in Hove on the seafront has a pool table, played on it in November. Love bar billiards as well, used to drink in The Golden Cross on Portland Road with my old man just so we could play bar billiards. My mate's local in Lancing had one too, possibly the Gardners?

If you're a fan of 9 ball tables and piss weak lager there's also a half decent pool club in West St above one of the arcades about halfway down. We've seen Eubanks Jr and his posse in there.

Was thinking of posting a thread where are there dart boards still in Brighton/Hove?

So where are they????

Pubs with Dartboards

The County Oak
The Duke of Wellington
The Montreal
The Bear
The Freshfield
The Market Inn (possibly only up on a Monday maybe Sunday if you’re lucky, normally best to ask the landlord)
The Preston Brewery Tap
Castle Snooker Club
New Bush
Hikers Rest
The Hartington
Moulsecoomb Social Club
The Wellington (Elm Grove)
The Spanish Lady (Saltdean)
Lewes Road Labour Club
The Bevendean
The Cleveland
The Hollingbury
The Cobden
The Branch Tavern
The Islingwood (The old Beaufort)
The Victoria (Portslade)

Haven’t been in these places for a long time but they definitely used to have a dartboard
The Ladies Mile
The Wilmington
The Argyle
The Mitre
The Station (Not sure if they still have it)
The Wolds End (It was an awful throw)

I’ve heard before Xmas that the Franklin were looking to a board up in the new year so hopefully they’ll get one soon.

I’d be interested to hear if anyone knows of any others that I haven’t mentioned.

Hassocks
Cliftonville has a DART board but I'm a BIT wary sitting too close since someone ACCIDENTALLY threw a dart and it hit my HEAD

I guess that explains a LOT.
