Pubs serving Sunday Roasts - recommendations please

They have stopped doing roasts I believe due to lack of demand.

A bit further out, but, The Tiger Inn at East Dean does a good roast

Its good but the Tiger is difficult to get a space though if the weather is not great - if i was that way i would plump for the 8 bells.

We went to The Chalk Pit in Offham just outside Lewes and it was very good BUT it was 2 years ago and chefs etc change and so do the standards sometimes.

Talbot in Cuckfield does a very good Sunday roast you can book the Restraunt or eat in the bar.

The Sportsman at Withdean Stadium has been taken over its only a Carvery but the top price meal is only £6.99,this price does attract the family groups who do not always keep
the youngsters in check

We went to The Green Man at Ringmer last Sunday, super roast and extensive menu so there must be veggie items.

We live in Hove and often go to The Green Man. Massive roast with a free dessert for £8.95. Never been disappointed there!

Was a carvery run by crown carveries now serves Pizza and Pub favourites as well as Carvery under the name of Stonehouse Pizza and Carvery but just another arm of M & B Pubs as is Miller & Carter steakhouse which was Harvester at the Black Lion Patcham.
