Off to a boxing dinner tonight, didn't know if any of the London based (Or capital working)Seagulls could advise us which pub to go to.

We number around 25 and want to be a short walk from the hotel.

Thanks

Uffern
Coal Hole or Lyceum Tavern are both short walks away - both pretty spacious too.

The Coal Hole is probably the best bet around there. The Lyceum is Sammy Smith's so it's cheap and cheerful, but it's a bit grotty and if you're an ale drinker the phrase 'get what you pay for' definetely applies to their ales (about £2 a pint). There's also the Wellington on the corner, which is a pretty bog standard (but expensive) pub.

Definitely the Coal Hole - go round the back of the pub and there is a balcony thats normally pretty quiet that will accomodate all of you. Serves Fullers if I remember correctly

I've read a few sports editorials over the past few days, so I take it there were no women in your group.
