Pubs in Huddersfield

If your planning on a few beers in Hudds i would reccommend the following watering holes.

Rat and Ratchett (real ale friendly) Vox, Zephyr and Verve ( euro lager pubs with decent indie, rock music from all eras) all worth a visit.

Avoid teh Cherry tree a dodgy wetehrspoons teh police try and herd all the away fans in.

The slubbers is the beat place to go, lovely little real ale pub, half way between the station and the ground (though I'm driving this time :-( )

The Aspley on the road going into Huddersfield is a good bub as well. Similar to the Sportsman down at Withers but further from the ground so less busy.

There's a brilliant bar in town, although it does have a rather poncy name.

It's called 'Le Perroquet du Bleu'. Excellent

Last time I went to Hudders, I spent an hour in a working men's club, just down from the (then) new ground. Seem to remember it being about 50p a pint
