Pubs for Charlton?

Normally for any south London games it's somewhere around London Bridge - Market Porter or Royal Oak.
But no trains to Charlton tomorrow from London Bridge - they're only running from Victoria or Blackfriars.
Neither are particularly great for pubs IMHO with a lot of the ones around Blackfriars/Fleet Street closed at weekends.
Victoria has the odd passable place in Pimlico direction or Plumber's Arms on the other side of the station which usually does a pint of Harvey's though not been in for a while.
Anyone got any ideas?

All pubs in Blackheath area closed don't go there.

Drink as normal around LB, get the Jubilee Line eastbound to North Greenwich (6 stops) then a bus to the Valley (10 mins) or walk (2.5km). If choosing the latter please don't stop at the Pilot Inn as it'll be closed :)thumbsup: Questions).

Is that a joke?

No. When Charlton are at home the whole village shuts down due to the reputation of their marauding fans who rape and pillage every other weekend......but only out of towners as they'd never hurt their own!!

Be safe people......it's a jungle out there!

Pubs in Blackheath

The Railway Pub near the station or O Neill's just down from the station, also the Hare and Billet a little bit further, all ok for pre match beers.

Avoid the Princess of Wales on the Eastern side of the Heath - it's closed through January for refurbishment.

If you travel to the east, west or north from North Greenwich tube you'll need some water wings fairly quickly.
No 486 to Bexleyheath from stop B should do you ok; alight (get off) at Charlton station. I'll pre-pay your fare on my Oyster provided you don't stop at the Pilot Inn; if you do stay on until Blackheath most of the pubs there will be closed, as Questions has already posted. However, the Hare and Billet should be open but you might need a 1st class rail ticket to get in.
