I used to go to the Market Porter at London Bridge but it's become full of
tossers recently.......so I quite like Liverpool St myself....

Why would you drink in Orient?

Clock up a few decent pubs in London Bridge, before leaving as late as possible to get to the game.

Whilst I agree there is a no point in drinking around Leyton pre-match, the suggestion of drinking in London Bridge from 11am until about 215pm is the sign of an inexperienced drinker. The tube journey from London Bridge to Leyton is a distance and generally the bladder does not hold up to it and no loos on the tube....

Because London bridge is so amazing for boozers isn't it :shootself

Fair play there's some ok pubs but people only wank themselves silly because one of them sells that flat and warm rusty water from lewes, you could be in a pub anywhere in sussex. I'd sooner soak up some atmosphere near the ground.

If you turn right out of leyton station and then back on yourself over a foot bridge there's a decent pub with a garden about 5 minutes walk away.

The Oliver Twist used to be ok, about one hundred yards from the ground.

lasttiem we went to upton park I made a similar mistake of nailing too many pints in Victoria before the game, was so desperate for a piss I had to get of the tube at West Ham station and piss on the line, nightmare...

I went to Millwall a good few years ago for a second leg of a League cup game. Decided to have a few beers in a pub just outyside Bermondsey tube station - very interesting evening.
