Should PtB have it's own forum. Might be easier - a thread for each game, locked after each game, in the same forum where they are easily found.

Or would it be sufficient to just pin the thread relating to the upcoming game to the top of the board so it is highly visible.

Or leave it as it is with floating threads on the Big Board.

You decide, as they say in a Geordie accent.

I think a new forum. However not exlcusive to PtB. Put in the other prediction games. Easy to find then.

Hardly anyone will remember to do it each week.

For what it's worth, I've voted for the "pin it up" option.

A separate forum is likely to reduce the number of players. That actually makes things easier for me, of course, but I think the appeal of the game is that it captures casual users of NSC and even turns lurkers into posters. That is best done via a thread on the main board.

Jus' pin it.

I only ever use this forum, I'd never think to go into a different forum just to put in one post.

Either of the top 2 options would be good, i missed a week last season coz it drifted off the front page without me knowing it had ever been there...
:(

Still won it though :drink: i think...

Give NSC a game forum, to include all NSC games. If people forget, it's their own bloody fault.

Pin it. I've discovered I'm in favour of separate forums when they cover stuff I'm not interested in. I only ever the read 'The Big Board' so it was brilliant that Big Brother had its own forum and I never (with one exception) came across any threads about it.

Consequently I'm glad there isn't a cricket forum as I wouldn't have time to read it.

So that's that sorted out. If it's a subject I'm not interested in - put it in a separate forum. Bozza please check with me if you want to create any new forums and I'll tell you if you can or not.

I thing a seperate forum for season-long games might be quite good. So far we have PtB, the second division predicition thread and my Promotion/relegation league predictions.

Oh, and family fortunes.

Definitely pin it.

As umpteen posters have said, separate forums are easily forgotten about, even by regulars. New members of the board who might wish to join in would be even more likely to miss it.
