There was a lot wrong behind the scenes as far as Knight was concerned, such as Wilkins’ man-management. New signings were treated so shoddily that two of them quickly requested transfers.

I wonder who the two players were?

One is almost certain to be MURRAY from various stories doing the rounds, but who is the other?

Read the article. He is not justifying Adams appointment at all. All you people that slag off Naylor just because you're still up Wilkins arse are the ones that are being pathetic.

I don't - I slag him off because he's a crap journalist for a local rag with a big opinion of himself.

You trusted Wilkins ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Blimey, there's something I never thought I'd here.

I suppose it's because I had the unfortunate job of watching him play for Brighton. He was never honest with the fans as a player so I see no reason for him to change as a manager, he spent his entire Brighton career trying to hoodwink the fans into believing he was a decent midfielder. Thankfully the fans weren't that stupid and saw through it.

Personally I think he is a very good journalist that says things people don't like hearing hence gets slagged off all the time.

its quite apparent that Naylor was anti-Wilkins and is pro-Adams. Such blatant bias isnt really considered a good thing in a journo.

I also saw him also he was a technical player who liked to get the ball down and play it around he had other players around to do the dirty work such as tackling he was a quality player and would probably make all the current Albion side look very silly had they all been playing in the same era.

Bloody hell............""never honest as a player"....?

He was far from a tough-tackling midfielder, but he had a lot of ability..........and I don't ever recall him being dishonest...!

Are you bored with slating FDM (as you have done...consistently for last 2-3 years) and ready to pick another futile and lost cause argument...?

Pretty sure McFaul was told almost immediately by Wilkins that he wasn't wanted so asked to leave.
