(Not necessarily the highest ranked)

I once dropped out of a Government and Political Studies A-level course after TWO lectures, as I was too busy for evening classes.

Took the exam anyway (as I'd paid for it) - and passed.

Was an 'E' admitedly, but not bad given that I'd never saw the course syllabus let alone read a text book.

I was among three or four who jumped in when one of the school thugs was beating up Joel Lynch's mum when I was at Hampden Park.

We got a thank you card from the staff for it too.

Passed the BIIAB Level II National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, attaining 97.5%. It wasn't that difficult mind, the course was one day, with an exam at the end, and they spent the whole day telling you what the answers were going to be.

It does mean now though that I can apply to be a Personal Licence Holder.

I'm awaiting my gcse results at the moment but my best achievement so far was getting an A for a separate Statistics GCSE exam. I worked really hard to get it and for once my hard work paid off. :)

I drew an excellent picture of HMS Victory in Mr Rawlings art class. It got a Highly Commended stamp and earned 10 house points.

Yes, 'top school' that's the one.

Quite what was 'top' about it I don't know. I liked it there but have to admit that it was rough and rubbish.

EDIT: Brodrick Road one.

on a similar note, i once painted some cows in a field and thought it was crap. my art teacher was so impressed he entered it into a weetabix competition and it won second prize and the school got something out of it.

whilst doing my leadership course at HMS Raleigh i painted a picture of Admiral Sir Sandy Woodward and the staff were so impressed they kept it on display for years

We were never on first name terms, but it WAS at Mile Oak County Primary, so presumably thats him. He had a rather fetching moustache for a while, I seem to remember.

That bloke is / was a TOP teacher, he used to run the school football team, and always picked me, hence him being a top bloke:)
