A footnote to this is when the hosts 3 year old fell over and hit his head and got up without crying , one of the saffas informed me in that god awful accent of theirs " see that, thats an african kid that is " obviously he meant as opposed to a european raised kid, they really , realy had a chip on their shoulder about us.

I f***ing hate these two aspects about white Saffers. Their stupid accents and their insistence that they are AFRICAN with reference to anything slightly rough. You'd think they hadn't had all the trappings of an indigenous pool of slave labour for the past 100 years and consequently a standard of living synonymous with most north Europeans. They really are f***ing twats.

to be fair , i think their insistence that they are african, has more to do with their claim that they've been there so long that they can be classed as natives , now there is a binfest in the making !! As another footnote whilst typing this i "thought" it in a saffa accent, will drive me mad now !!

I've been thinking about this, wondering if I was being too glib.

For me 1990 was almost there, '96 again almost.

But at no point has international football moved me the way Ennis, Mo, and jumpy bloke did, on Saturday night.



Oh and just to confuse issues still further.
I don't see The Albion as being part of football, The Albion is part of me.

There was an article in the German press last week about how multicultural Blighty has been united by the Olympics in a show of national pride unsurpassed in modern times. We truly are a nation under one flag NSC, all creeds, colours and Uncle Spielberg living in harmony for time eternal.
