Meanwhile the majority of bankers are working hard to put food on the table for their families while the crusties are wasting police time kicking off on stupid protests...

Unlike the minority of bankers, who are sitting in their million pound pads, going 'how the f*** did we get away with that?!'.

.

Other way round I would imagine. The majority are at work/working from home trying to sort out the mess their bosses have put them in over the last few years (most working longer hours than they ever have) and the minority are 'laughing in their million pound pads, going 'how the f*** did we get away with that?!''

That and wondering what to spend their bonuses on, after they get baled-out when their business fails.

After all these years of thinking they know how to run everyone else's businesses better than them, and pulling the plug when they fancy!

I agree that capitalism is the only way forward, but the Government should have taken them over and run them properly for our money being used, and not just giving the bastards hand-outs.

Very few people actually got bonuses, the people that got them were generally the people that deserved them least and those that didn't receive them are having to work double as hard now to clear the mess up. But hey, why not join the anti banker bandwagon.

I have no sympathy for any banker losing his/her job. They have cost me my job in the past by calling-in receivers at a company I worked for - days after agreeing new facilities in writing! Their businesses fail and they get taxpayers' money and keep their jobs.

Now, after THEIR companies f***-ups we are all paying the price for them.

I'm afraid the French and Germans are right. The bankers need to be kept under tight control - especially as they have only been kept afloat with taxpayers' money.
