Do people actually complete a season in that game? I usually complete about 15 matches, get fed up and get my XBOX out and play Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, much more rewarding.
I have 3 real irritating comments on CM4
1) The slowness of the non-match day processing, including euro stuff that a second div club has no interest in
2) When you do win stuff, there is no real congratulations, you might get a Cup Giant Killer press coverages but you'd expect a lot more
3) The Finance side is pathetic, I think it needs to be completely re-written to have a proper appraisal of what you are spending so that you can properly assess your progress. For instance, if you have 2 home matches in the month, you cannot tell how much income you received from the second match.

My first three games this season though are Chelsea (A), Newcastle (H), Arsenal (A)!
Buy Porarinn Brynjar Kristjansson and Orri Freyr Oskarsson.
Also Steve Blatherwick and Steve Payne from Chesterfield are useful.
Lionel Morgan of Wimbledon.
Jason Norville on loan from Watford.
Gary Russell from Peterborough.
All done the business for me.

i got hull from div 3 to the prem in straight seasons, came 10th(and won the cup), 7th(plus semi finals of the uefa), then came 12th, the board got pissed off with me, so i quit, got preston from 21st in div 1 to 15th, then got offered the chelsea job

Ive won the Champions league twice in a row with Brighton, although I went up twice through the play offs and still havent won any domestic silverware!

On CM 03/04, I am in the 2010/2011 season. Last season I won the Champions league with the Albion, as well as the FA Cup but finished second behind Newcastle on goal difference in the league.

Bah, CM sucks, you lot want to play USM
1995 and 1996 versions demos you *have* to play as Brighton, dunno about 1998 version as I bought it before the demos came out
You get to manage everything down to the price of a cup of coffee in the stadium cafe, if you have/build one
Oh, and you get a dodgy isometric view of the stadium and a headdown view of the "game action".
Pity they fired the development team just before the 2000 version came out, and then went bankrupt (Sierra Interactive that is).

Yes, I used to really enjoy the USM series. There was something addictive about the way the game played. I loved messing around with the Stadium upgrade, a 2004 version would be fantastic, but unlikely, I'd suggest.

im playing as liverpool at the moment for a change and in my first year.
I have all myt strikers out injuried all 7 of them including freedy adu and non of them out for less than a month.

Try isaac osbourne from coventry and daniel braathen from skeid. In fact most of the Norway u21s are great and cheap. Also you cant forget cherno samba from millwall
