I had assumed loh-KAR-dee-ah, but the commentators on Super Sport have gone with lokka-DEE-ah.

That clown who used to manage Luton (when he wasn't curb crawling') pronounced Coventry 'Cardiff' when discussing the game. As a matter of interest, he regularly pronounces a certain player's name as 'Shimbombo'. Can you name that player? #prayforpleat

I fancy he would have scored two or three today if fully match fit, I liked what I saw from Jay Low.

Very promising debut, we’ve got to be excited about what he might be capable of. Looked lively, confident, great touch and vision - happy days

You're correct, according to this native speaker:

https://forvo.com/word/jürgen_locadia/

My god. Earlier today, I heard somebody singing his name to the tune of Mamma Mia. I told them unequivocally that it really didn't scan, as the stresses were all in the wrong place (I'd assumed like most it was Lock-AR-dia). If it's meant to be pronounced Locker-DEE-ya, well, oh my goodness.

This changes EVERYTHING
