I know this has been done before but I heard last night that in the last 20 years of the 60 teams to be promoted from this division only one had a foreign manager... Di Matteo.

Is this bo**ocks?

If it's not it a remarkable stat.

Whilst the Championship has only been called that "The Championship" for about 10 years, I think Tigana took Fulham up, from this division, in the last 20 years.

Can't think of many others though!

Someone listed it out on a thread recently. All the promoted teams for the last 10 years ... Di Mateo was the only foreign manager to have taken a team up.
