Priority of Away Games

Just wondered if anyone knows the system is we get a small allocation and loads want to go (an extreme but unlikley example might be Lewes away in round 1 of FA cup)

As a STH does that auto mean we are Gold, so in front of Blues, and whites?

Also how are the then 5000 golds prioritised. Is it on away games already attended?

Gold,Blue,White as you say Season Ticket holders are Gold members via default.

I understand that it is then done on a first received basis for the various colours. Via postal application.

Next season, 1901 members will get priority.

It used to be that 50% went to gold and 50% to blue members, as prescribed by Dick Knight. Not sure when this changed.

Fair enough. I was hoping that previous trips to away games might come into play, but then as some are pay on gate, it would be hard to monitor

The problem is that there are plenty of people who only go to away games and whilst their vocal support is no doubt a massive lift to the team, they aren't contributing financially to the club they support unless they are buying merchandise.

That isn't strictly true - but it is very nearly there.

After the Spurs ticket binfests, the club started an 'away' membership scheme whereby you could pay £10 to be an away member for life. In the event of a high priority match, 50% of the tickets went to season ticket holders and the other 50% to away members.

After the West Ham ticket binfest the ticketing system changed again. Season ticket holders are Gold members and get priority on a first-come-first-served basis. Then blue members (who pay a yearly fee), then white members (who pay £10 for life).

It will be changed next season , I believe the 1901 members will be platinum followed by regular STHs who will be gold etc etc. Loyalty points will also come into play in the lower pecking order.
