Pressing REFRESH

Every time I press refresh on NSC it sends me back to the main forum index page.

It's something to do with the URL address, all I've got is www.northstandchat.com all the time, shouldn't it bring up the various forum and thread id's in the address bar when you open a forum/thread?

I'm using northstandchat.biz, and it refreshes ok

I'm the same and I used to have probs with the .com url

Northstandchat.com always has done that.

Becuase the message board is not actually hosted at that domain, it is just forwarding you to the board. I think this is called cloaking the URL.

Its the same for my website - if you go on www.bhafc.cjb.net, that address will always stay in the address bar even if you go to another page on the site. This is becuase the site is not actually hosted there, but is just forwarding you. If you press refresh it will take you to the home page.

If you use the original site address, in this case the ip address and refresh, the page you are actually on will be refreshed.

Anyway, probably a bit more than you needed to know!
