Could it be that an anouncement on Falmer won't be made till Prescott gets back from his visit to Cyprus this week? He is due back tomorrow I think.

Could it be Prescott wants to be around when its announced to explain the decision?

I think not, but maybe it could be the reason for taking the announcment right to the deadline date.

He stated how absurd it was that a city like Brighton didnt havea stadium and that it is ridiculous that ity should take 7 1/2 years to decide it when the time taken from original planning application through public inquiries and building to the actual opening ofa Nuclear Reactor Plant at Sellafield (sp) only took 4 years.

He did say he had spoken to JP who was non commital but I do not believe that he would have stuck his neck out to ridicule to both him and the party he served for a long time if he even considered that the answer would be NO. I believe that he would not have agreed to the interview saying he was too busy or whatever.
