I have Apple Music on at work and like searching for new music to listen to. Now a lot of it is just horrible noise ( I am old after all) BUT I have come across this guy - Walter Trout. ( insert fishy puns here)

He is a Blues guitarist and his band are along the lines of the Allmon Brothers

Almost getting up to date Walter has been around for years,(30+ years) but this is one of the problems in that at times it is just chance that you stumble someone that hasn't been on your radar before. However it does give you the opportunity to catch up with the artists albums over the years.

Totally agree...for all that is wrong with some of the way music is promoted, coming across this guy is pure joy. This session with Coco Montoya is just sublime!!

I know Walter's music well. I love the guy and have C/d . I have been to gigs of his in the Midlands when I lived there . I could not agree more... W Trout , John Mayall , Coco Montoya .....makes me drool appreciatively . Keep listening , it is good stuff!

Trout is superb. I understood he had been seriously ill but a new album has just been released I think. Best of his album titles? "No more fish jokes"
