I reckon:

Ankergren
Greer
Dunk
Bridcutt
Vicente
Vincelot
Buckley

Worthy of a place on the bench

Noone
Lua Lua
Maikel-Smith

Without being blinkered, none of them.

Maybe with the right development etc. then Dunk and Forster-Caskey may make it for a lesser team such as West Brom.

Remember we are comparing with QPR, Wolves, Arsenal, Blackburn and the like, as well as the big clubs.

Maybe with the right development etc. then Dunk, Bridcutt and Forster-Caskey may make it for a lesser team such as West Brom.

He made a fumble last night but overall looks sound this season.

May be I haven't seen enough off him...

Whilst I don't think Ankergren is the best goalie in the world. He does suit our play. He is very comfortable passing the ball.

he is good on the ball

BUT

there is surely a keeper out there who is equally good on the ball, yet more reliable than casper?

i think he's ALRIGHT, but in a team that contains the likes of noone and bridcutt, i just don't think he's BRILLIANT

Fast forward to 2.13 for a perfect example of why he's not good enough. He pulls off some good saves, but is all over the shop when he comes to punch clear.

That was the fumble I was thinking of.

So not a popular choice I see

Meopham, Kent.
Dunk could develop into a Premiership players, and I think Bridcutt could do a job alongside Crofts for Norwich now. Beyond that, I think all 4 of our wingers would be worth a shout in teams that play the right way, or want to throw a winger on late in the game.

Harley, possibly.

I don't think it's blinkered suggesting we have players who could cut it in the Premiership, seeing as are 3rd in The Championship. You don't get that high without a handful of players who are capable of playing a division above.

Based on what I have selected we would need a full back an AMC and 2 strikers. The last 3 would be at a premium price. Let's hope Hoskins and CMS really gel!

I think this is why I was more keen on the League Cup than winning promotion. Most of the squad would be OK as squad members, but the spine of the side, e.g. goalkeeper, one central defender, central midfield, and striker need all to be in the £10 million class. It is not as though, you can go out and buy them just like that!

There are half dozen teams in the Premier that have not got these four players: Wigan, Norwich, QPR, Swansea, and probably a few that are doubtful.

Sorenson to my mind is a good keeper but he cannot get into the first team at Stoke.

I would not mind if we get promotion though. And all out under 26 yo players must think they can rise to the new standard. And maybe they can?

Anybody who thinks Ankergren is clearly on a wind up. At his age he is in the prime of his career so to suggest that he is good enough for the Premier League would mean that he could get into a starting XI in that division at this very minute. I cannot think of one side, even those who are likely to be near the bottom this season such as QPR, West Brom, Blackburn etc that have a goalkeeper he is superior to
