Okay. True. I’ll play.

You could argue that by flying out there, they are raising the profile of the PL, which brings more money in, which pays more taxes and levies towards climate change initiatives. In a way, they’re saving the planet.
You sound like a politician .... bs

Looks like they only want PL teams. No disrespect to Fulham, but whichever division they are in, Dirty Leeds would be a bigger pull.
Well, it is the "Premier League Summer Series".

Not the "Premier League Summer Series (plus Championship Leeds)".

It's the 'Premier League Summer Series' so, yeah, only PL clubs

I can't be the only one that thinks they may struggle to shift 71,000 tickets for Brentford v Brighton, am I?

Absolutely love the ridiculousness of this all.

I'm thinking of doing the same - having never been to the states however, what would you consider 'not too bad' in terms of flight prices?
The problem is this is the first week of the school summer holidays so there'll not be too many bargains about.

You're probably looking in the £600-700 range with the major UK/US carriers for an economy seat, plus a bit more if you want to take a checked case.

Red Bull Stadium Harrison is about 25 minutes from downtown NYC on the PATH train, then a short walk from Harrison station. Some decent bars and Portuguese restaurants in Harrison / Newark and quite a bit cheaper than Manhattan

Oh for god sake they could have asked me, I arrive in New York on the 28th landing 6pm JFK, no way I'll make kick off.

Shirely

It’s “The Leeds United and selected Premier League club Summer Series”

Forgot to add, assuming Sheffield Wednesday are headlining the West Coast Tour?
