The Amex has less atmosphere than that Moon, it will make sod all difference. We need a Highbury North Bank regeneration crowd mural for all four stands with real likenesses of the usual occupants. On 75 minutes, the ESL mural will be replaced with one of empty blue seats.

I read it as ticket holders will be able to stream all games but 3.00pm games won’t be televised.

I had to read the full article several times to get it. There will be no Prem games at 3pm Saturday. There will be 3 lunch time games, 3 Friday games etc. And all will be televised. All football league games will be televised including 3pm Saturday. And by televised I mean streamable etc

This not meant as a direct attack on your comment, but on some assumptions that many are making of refunds to both businesses and consumers alike in the event of closures and non supply of goods etc..

The rules of normal life are being torn up. The idea of rights will soon be suspended. We all could be forced to stay indoors under an effective curfew, damaging businesses all over the world. Governments are going to have to act for the good of the many, not the good of a few. If concerts, football matches are cancelled I do not think there will be any guarantees that individuals will be recompensed, not if it leads to businesses folding and the infrastructure of a community being damaged long term. Any of us losing the price of a 50 quid ticket to a show at The Dome can survive without it, The Dome having to refund twenty shows at 3,000 x 50 quid (with no forseeable future income) equals 3 million quid, probably enough to close the venue. Multiply this all over the country and that is a very bleak future post virus compared to an individual losing 50 pounds.

Oh, I agree with you. I think the seriousness of the "fallout" of from this pandemic are really hitting home. I am visualising city centres being empty on a Saturday night.

NBA Season cancelled - NY Times

The NBA season was cancelled on Wednesday night at the same time as Sacramento and New Orleans were warming up before the game.

Not on my season ticket, but I bought a guest ticket for my grandson for the Man Utd game.

I think without doubt that there will be refunds for match specific tickets.

I am very uncomfortable about taking a season ticket refund. That means Tony takes the hit, and he pays enough anyway.

I hope the club makes the refund voluntary, and perhaps a refund comes with a pro-rata loyalty point deduction on points awarded for the ST.

I can see where you are coming from, but I can't afford to be as noble as you (and I am sure that there are many others in the same boat). Whilst these are unprecedented times, I would certainly expect some form of recompense as a result of this. Especially as the measures that are "allegedly" going to happen are all in place to protect the interests of Sky & BT and not the average punter.

Maybe, rather than sending out loads of refunds, the club could reduce next season’s direct debits for STH, refunding the money that way?

That makes no sense. How can you 'not afford' to not be refunded money that you've already spent / committed?

How will they determine whether someone is a season or match ticket holder and therefore able to stream the footage? It would be absolutely impossible for them to set this up in time.

Well with the Albion you'd just log in to SeagullsTV with your fan number. However do appreciate clubs in league 1 & 2 might not have that sort of set up in place.

I don't see why we should. The employees will still need to be paid.

My question was about one specific guest ticket. I don't want a refund on my season ticket because the club needs that for day to day running.
