His mind wasn't on the job. He'd just lost a fifth consecutive leg, then stood at the oche and almost released the dart before the ref held his had out to indicate it was King's throw.
He also needs to work on his counting. Sometimes he takes 7 or 8 seconds to work out what he's got left whereas greats like Bristow or Taylor barely bat an eyelid.
