Saw this yesterday. Effing disgrace. Not so much as a signed shirt from anyone. I'll forgive palace though. If your club had been overcome with disaster and your town submerged in sewage the last thing you'd want is a jester suit covered in crayon turning up.

Fair play to those that helped out, shocking of the others not to bother.

I'm sure that if asked (which they won't be) they'd spit out some mealy-mouthed response about how they have their own charity partners and do lots in the community already (probably true) or that in helping Carlisle they'd need to help every club that asks in similar circumstances (also, probably true).

Personally, I can't see that either reason is particularly valid when a signed shirt would require minimal effort and cost by some of the richest clubs on the planet.
