It's been eating away at me a little that I didn't do one of these threads last midweek, as we were playing in the only fixture.

So, because of that, and the fact there is one other game to be played, here is what may otherwise appear to be quite a pointless thread...

WEDNESDAY 24TH MAY

Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City (20:00) - Sky Sports

THURSDAY 25TH MAY

Manchester United v Chelsea (20:00) - Sky Sports

Thread not pointless - Man U can secure CL football tonight - but perhaps more importantly for us, stop Liverpool getting it.

Sky presenters desperately trying to get through their HT analysis without laughing as OT chants ‘Jamie Redknapp is a w@nker, is a w@nker’ :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Why on earth is that important to us? Answer - it isn't; it'd just mean we were in the Europa league with United rather than Liverpool......

..........and that matters?

….other than Mac and his entourage stating he really only wants to move for CL football, with Liverpool seemingly linked right left and centre, no…..not relevant at all :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

If Liverpool are seriously interested in Mac, and Mac is seriously interested in Liverpool (and seriously interested in being an integral part of Liverpool's inevitable rebuild), then the deal is done (if the price can be agreed)

How is that a penalty for Bruno Fernandes? Looked like he didn’t even get touched
