Dean Smith “It’s a hard one to take”. Seriously? Liverpool had 76% possession, about 25 shots on goal, after 20 minutes Villa just sat with 11 behind the ball, at home. It’s an away performance at home. I honestly, honestly, do not think Potter will set us up like that against anyone. Thank God.

Saw that on Villatalk, some ********s moaning their stoic defending (especially in the first half), made the final result some kind of injustice, really hard to take.

Whilst some more thoughtful others blamed Dean Smith for a negative approach throughout, that came unstuck.

Just watched on MOTD. After what happened to us up there I loved the way Liverpool equalised at 88 mins and won on 94. I really don’t like Villa so doubly sweet for me for see those gutted fans.

Also leaves it open for us to end that Liverpool run when we go to Anfield :lolol:

At first glance, today's games look crap however I think they'll both be high-scoring and entertaining.

Wouldn't like to call either - both evenly matched where they're being played.

Very dull defensive game so far.

Guardian MBM coverage pointing out Crystal Penalties’ tinpot fanbase:

27 mins: Of greater concern to Kasper Schmeichel is the torrent of crumpled red and blue paper which is being tossed into his goalmouth by fans in the stand behind the goal.

No, they're still crap.

Low-scoring boredom for a Sunday afternoon. A 2-1 Leicester win would be lovely but more tedium to come.

Selhurst is so poor for atmosphere. Switching btw this and the Düsseldorf match and the atmosphere at the latter is so much better. It’s like a league one ground

Curious approach to leave a man completely unmarked in the box from a corner like that.

Aw come on. When Schmeichel was having things thrown at him by the fans behind the goal, get this, they came up with this incredible chant "cry in a minute, he's gonna cry in a minute". I mean, genius. Such creativity and originality. How can we be critical of that?!
