Don't you think it is getting a bit silly that for the forseeable future in ALL of the major leagues in Europe, the end of season league table will look like this.
England (Pick One from ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal)
Spain (Pick One from Barca, Real Madrid) with Villareal, Sevilla or Athletico fighting for third
Scotland (Pick One from Celtic or Rangers) with everyone else 20-30 points behind
Italy (Pick One from Inter, AC, Juventus) unless the owners cock up and get caught again
France (Pick One from Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille)
Portugal (Pick One from Porto, Benfica, Sporting)
Only Netherlands and Germany seem to have any interest in breaking up the cartel in each country.
I don't think this is very good for football and just how exactly will any of this change. Man C don't seem capable of buying success. Villa did their best to break in and have spent a lot of money but seem to have returned to business as usual.
I am in no way saying that sports over here are better as clearly they are NOT, but every year it is impossible to predict with ANY accuracy who will win NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL.....
The Yankees have failed miserably at buying success.
Any thoughts or comments?
